What is dr strange kaecilius?

Kaecilius is a fictional character from Marvel Comics and a primary antagonist in the 2016 movie adaptation Doctor Strange. He is a former student of the Ancient One, the mentor and teacher of the titular character, who becomes a follower of the villainous entity known as Dormammu.

In the movie, Kaecilius is portrayed by actor Mads Mikkelsen. He is a former member of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, a group of powerful magicians who protect the world from mystical threats. However, Kaecilius becomes disillusioned with the Ancient One's teachings, convinced that she is hiding the true power of the mystical arts.

To gain more knowledge and power, Kaecilius turns to the dark dimension of Dormammu, where he makes a pact with the demon to turn Earth into a realm of eternal darkness. He leads a group of followers called the Zealots to steal pages from the Ancient One's mystical texts, ultimately leading to a confrontation with Doctor Strange.

Kaecilius is a skilled fighter, using dark magic to create deadly weapons and conjure protective spells. However, he ultimately meets his demise at the hands of Strange, who uses the Eye of Agamotto to trap him in an endless time loop.
